This activity for Spanish students targets the verbs vine/vino and vi/vio. Using the worksheet provided, students will create their own interesting situations following the "Caesar sentence" model (I came, I saw, I conquered). The situations that individual students create then serve as a basis for class discussion that gives more repetitions of the target verbs AND provides opportunities for students to acquire a unique third preterite verb form for each worksheet discussed.
Instructional time could range from one class period (45 minutes) to several days, depending on how many of these posters you discuss. Complete lesson plans, including a teacher script, are included.
