Part of the Calculate Density BUNDLE
Two unique ways for students to practice calculating density and then using their calculations to identify what the sample is.
The first activity is Density Dominoes with two different ways to use them. One is a game board where students paste the matching sides of the dominoes with sample and mass and volume and paste the dominoes down. In the second version, students will cut out the dominoes and match the mass and volume of a sample with the sample name and just match them with partners. This can be done individually or done as a station.
In the second activity, students will calculate the density when given the mass and volume and then match samples to their names. This can be done individually, or it can be made into a station to be used over and over again.
If you use these as a station, print on card stock and laminate.
