Product Description
Have students practice calculating speed in a FUN way!

This is an easy but very engaging lab to reinforce the topic of speed and motion with middle school students. It is ready to print, easy to follow, and very straightforward. Students place dominoes at different spaces from each other, measure the total distance, and time how long it takes the line of dominoes to fall. They use this data to calculate the speed of each trial. Includes clear instructions, a data table, blank graph, and some analysis questions. On the last page (which could leave out if you choose), there is a "going further" activity. Middle school students LOVE this lab.
