Infinite Series: Alternating Series Test for Convergence
This activity is designed for AP Calculus BC or College Calculus 2. It is part of the unit on Infinite Series, specifically Tests for Convergence.
✓ 12 Task cards. For #1 - 4 students will use the Alternating Series test for convergence. Cards #5 – 10 also ask the students to determine whether the series converges absolutely or conditionally. For cards #11 – 12, students are to find the remainder of the Alternating Series.
