Integration by Parts Applications Scavenger Hunt. This activity is designed for Calculus 2 and Calculus BC classes. This topic is included in the unit on Techniques of Integration.
Engage your Calculus students and get them moving around while learning to solve applications which involve Integration by Parts. Be the guide on the side as your students move around the classroom solving problems and getting excited as they travel the globe in this fun scavenger hunt. It is self checking, too.
There are twelve problems which include area, volume, and average value. A master question list and answer keys are included as well as a Solution Key for the Set-ups. The Master list can also be used as a worksheet for an absent student.
Students must know the formulas for Volume, both shell and disk, Area, and Average Value or be given a formula cheat sheet. ★ Applications to Integration Graphic Organizer
