Polar Slope Guided Notes and Task or Station Cards with Full Typed Solutions - NO PREP!
This resource contains four pages of Guided Notes with formulas and completed examples plus examples for them to complete with room for notes and explanations. Two problems have your students find the slope of a tangent line and two more example have them find the points where the graph of the function has horizontal and vertical tangents.
There are also 8 Task or Station cards with more practice finding the slope of polar functions, and the vertical and horizontal tangents. I have included the graphs of the functions on the cards and notes. This resource should be calculator free. Please note that the graphing calculator can not only graph polar functions, but it can also find the numerical slope. Students can check their answers when the assignment is done.
Also included is an unnumbered student response sheet with room to show work so students can organize their work. Fully typed solutions are included
