Taylor and MacLaurin Polynomials
Amaze your AP Calculus BC, and College Calculus 2 students with the visualization of Taylor Polynomials included in this product. There are three handouts which explore different orders of Taylor Polynomials in full color. Students will be able to see where the polynomials diverge from the original function and explore where they converge. Handouts also work great with a document camera to project on a big screen or as posters.
Also included are guided student notes with two full examples using both the Taylor and MacLaurin Polynomial Formulas
. There are three more problems on the notes for the students to complete with a table. My students love the table setup and find it easy to generate the polynomial by hand this way.
A quiz , worksheet, or homework assignment with six similar problems is also included as well as all answer keys.
