This resource includes 2 sets of cards each with 24 calculus Derivative formulas. The sets include the 24 most common formulas:
*General Differentiation Rules
*Derivatives of Algebraic Functions
*Derivatives of Exponential and Logarithmic Functions
*Derivatives of Trigonometric Functions
*Derivatives of Inverse Trigonometric Functions, plus a few more
The first set is based upon formulas with "x" and the second set is for formulas based on "u". The "u" set would be used for derivatives after the chain rule. The two sets have different frames.
Depending upon which textbook you use, you can give students the cards that are relevant to your curriculum a that point in the semester, customizing the set.
Aside from being study cards, I think the best way to use these cards is for the students to write an example on the back. I did not include examples as I found that my students needed to interact with the cards and take ownership.
I also included a set of the x cards with fun backgrounds, just for fun.
