Calculus 1 Final Exam
This Final Exam is designed for College Calculus 1, and/or Dual enrollment (Dual Credit) Calculus 1. It covers Units 1 – 4 which include Limits, Derivatives, Application of the Derivative, and Integration. It can be used as a review for High School Honors Calculus, or an AP Calculus class, but is not intended to be in the style of the AP exam. It is designed to assess basic knowledge of Calculus 1 and is an excellent indicator for the ability of students to do well in Calculus 2.
There are 22 Multiple Choice questions, 17 short answer, and 3 applications. The applications are at the end of the test. You may, of course substitute your own. You may assign points as you like and choose to use a Scantron for the MC.
It is not meant to be a killer exam, and students in my classes have averaged a B on this test with no scale. My students are allowed a TI 83 – 84 Plus calculator on this test. My students had one hour and fifty minutes to complete the test. No cheat sheets.
