Yes, I know – there is only a little calculus in this foldable, but I hate spending time reviewing. So I give my students this foldable to review the arithmetic and geometric sequences and sequence convergence and divergence before I get into convergent tests for infinite series. The students have their Interactive Notebooks from Precalculus and can look up the information there or in their textbooks or Google it!! I spend one day adding some calculus concepts of sequences such as monotonicity and limit theory; then they are ready to do some calculus with infinite series convergence.
My students encounter this concept in the Larsen Calculus textbook in Ch. 9 on Infinite Series following advanced integration strategies thus the numbering 9-1.
This foldable can be used alone or glued into a 9.5 by 7.5 Interactive Notebook. Hope this is helpful. Enjoy!
