Calculus, Introduction to Differential Equations, Initial Value Problems Task or Station Cards
This activity is designed for Calculus 1 or AP Calculus. Initial Value problems are usually included in the beginning of Unit 4, Integration, right after Antiderivatives, but depending upon your curriculum may appear in a different sequence. None of the problems use substitution to integrate.

#11 – 16 are Initial value problems given as word problems, some of which relate to velocity and acceleration.

included with answer key. The master list can be used as a worksheet as an alternative to task cards.
✓Student response sheets
with room for students to show their work.
✓Handout with 12 similar problems
The handout can also be used as Quiz, Homework, or enrichment
