Product Description
This is a collaborative activity to practice solving indefinite and definite integrals involving roots and quadratics. Students will need to make appropriate substitutions and complete the square to evaluate the integrals.

Partners work through 16 sections (or less if preferred) each consisting of one indefinite and one definite integrals having the same integrand.
The first ten of the sections include integrals involving roots ( eight sections with square roots and two with cube roots), the rest six sections contain quadratic denominators.

Activity Directions:
Partner A solves an indefinite integral of a section while Partner B solves an indefinite integral of the other (the next in line) section. Then they swap papers and compute the boundaries of the obtained functions (evaluate definite integrals).

NOTE: I have also made modifications of the worksheets to be used for individual practice if you prefer this type of activity!

This activity is included in my
