Integration of Inverse Trig Functions Task Cards plus Quiz/HW Graphic Organizer
This activity is designed for Calculus 1, AP Calculus, and Calculus Honors. It is part of Unit 4, Integration. Activity Based Learning with Task Cards really does work to help reinforce your lessons. Task and station cards get your students engaged and keep them motivated. Use all at once or as many as you like. Directions for using Task Cards included in this resource.
Included in the Lesson:
☑ Task Cards: There are 20 Task Cards
which increase in difficulty numerically. Included types are arctan, arcsin, and arcsec. #1- 14 are indefinite integrals; 15 and 16 are definite integrals; and 17 – 20 are applications. Students should not need a calculator for this activity.
☑ Master List of Questions which can also be used as an assessment or class worksheet
☑ Student response sheet
☑ Answer keys
•☑ Additional Handout with ten questions
and room for students to show work. The handout can be used as enrichment, homework, group work, or as an assessment.
☑ Graphic Organizer
with section formulas. For my classes I printed this on neon paper, cut them up, and had my students glue it into their notebooks for easy reference.
