L'Hopital's Rule Indeterminate Forms Task Cards, Notes, and Graphic Organizer

This activity is designed for Calculus AB Calculus BC, and College Calculus 1 or 2 depending upon curriculum. L’Hopital’s is often part of the unit, Applications of the Derivative, but in some schools it comes at the end of the unit, Techniques of Integration, right before Improper Integrals in Calculus 2 or AP Calculus BC.

In this activity, students are to use L’Hopital’s Rule to evaluate the integrals.

Included:

• Two sets of student notes, seven problems, with and without full step-by-step typed solutions giving you two options.
• Graphic Organizer with section hints
• Two sets of 22 Task Cards plus two blanks for you to customize. One set has QR code and the other does not. Students do not need to use the internet to check their answers but must have a device with the QR reader app installed.

# 1 - 11 are of the form 0/0

# 2 - 16 are of the form ∞ / ∞, 0* ∞, ∞ - ∞

# 17 -20 are exponential forms

# 21 - 22 are the only ones with no limit.
