This module covers the calculus I concept of limit. It is designed to be covered in a group learning environment. Students typically work in groups of size 4-8 as they work through the problems in the module. Each module is divided into 3 parts: pre-workshop activities, workshop activities, and post-workshop activities. The pre-workshop activities are primarily review questions designed to prepare the students for the workshop session. They generally require students to solve simple one-step problems or review definitions and important theorems. The workshop activities are designed to facilitate the students in exploring in depth a key concept by testing its range of validity and using it properly in applications. The post-workshop activities are designed to help students solidify their understanding of the workshop material. These problems are challenging and require a good conceptual understanding of the material covered in the workshop.
