Calculus and PreCalculus - Finding Limits Analytically Foldable Interactive Flip Book.
This great activity is designed for AP Calculus AB and BC, Honor Calculus, College Calculus 1 and 2, and PreCalculus. (depending upon curriculum)
Flip Books really do work to engage your students and keep them motivated to go through the lesson, more so than a simple worksheet. They are fun and a great resource for review.
This Foldable Flip Book highlights the main rules of limits including limits at infinity and the 3 special limits along with the techniques used to analytically find limits. There are six completed examples.
Techniques include finding limits of Continuous Functions, Rational Functions with Common Factors, Rationalizing the Numerator, Using Conjugates for Rational Trigonometric Functions, Limits of Rational Functions with Polynomials in the numerator and denominator, and Limits of Piecewise Defined Functions. L’Hopital’s Rule is not included. There are also six examples in the Flip Book for students to finish. The solution key is also included.
Each Flip book requires one sheet of 8 ½ by 11” paper. Easy to assemble - no glue, no tape, no mess. Two sided printing required.
