In this scavenger hunt, there are 12 problems for students to complete. The 12 problems will help students practice working with limits. Students should be able to find the limit using substitution and techniques of algebra including factoring, rationalizing, and finding a common denominator.
The teacher should post these 12 cards randomly around the room. Students can start at any card. They work that problem and then look around the room to find the answer. Then they work the problem on that card and so on. Students should end where they began.
I have included a recording sheet so students can show their work and record their answers.
Answer key included.
