This resource includes three parts to help your students understand and apply the Mean Value Theorem for Integrals.
Included in the Lesson:
1. A Guided handout which demonstrates the MVT and has two examples, one completed, showing all the steps, and a second one for your students to complete with you.
2. A set of 11 task or station cards for your students to practice. Five of the problems are applications. There is a good mix of challenging problems. Please look at the preview to verify these problems are appropriate for your classes. I have had a lot of success with students working together in small groups to complete these problems.
3. An Graphical Organizer for students to paste into their notebooks which helps them visualize the Theorem.
I have included fully typed solutions for you so this is a NO PREP
activity. Also included is a recording sheet for your students to show work.
