The end of the semester is time to review important math concepts before the big math assessment test. Engage your students in a game format with 50 multiple choice questions about calculus derivatives.
The timed powerpoint slides will display 50 Calculus Derivative Multiple Choice
questions that will increase in difficulty. Each question has four multiple choice answers.
The second slide of each question will begin the twenty second time period during which students choose the answer. A five second warning will appear on the slide before the time period ends. The third slide will display the correct answer.
Students must write down their answer choice before the bell rings.
Teachers may stop the powerpoint after the answer is given and reteach the problem if a number of students need to review.
Teachers may rearrange the order of the slides or create presentations with fewer questions. They have the option to put all the easier questions into one presentation and differentiate presentations based on problem complexity. The slides are composed of screen shots of problems from tests during the semester, but the slide presentation itself is editable. If you flatten the powerpoint you create, the timed slides will not work. I tried flattening this multiple choice quiz and the time slides were frozen.
This timed multiple choice quiz game would work well for a substitute teacher.
