When the first page is opened there is an example done out three ways showing the difference between Left Endpoint Sum, Midpoint Sum and Right Endpoint Sum methods.
As students open the foldable fully, there are six more problems for them to complete. There are two different functions for which they find the sums three ways, Left Endpoint, Midpoint and Right Endpoint. Full Solutions included.
Two - sided printing required.
There is room for notes on the back. This space could be used to find the definite integral using limit process or it could also be used for the Trapezoidal rule if your curriculum includes that.
This resource also includes a Handout
with 4 problems. I have included the Full Solutions for you. The handout can be used for HW, a quiz, or as enrichment.
