In this packet you will find one puzzle that will help your students practice working with the derivatives of trig functions.
This puzzle contains 40 problems. In order to be successful with these problems, students must be able to find the derivatives of all 6 of the trig functions. They should be able to work with the chain rule, product rule, and quotient rule. Students should know the Pythagorean Identities and the Reciprocal Identities.
Students begin by cutting out the 40 cards on the 2 puzzle pages. Students start with the card specified and find the derivative of the problem on the bottom half of that card. They look for the answer on the top half of another card and then work the problem on that card…and so on. After finishing all 40 problems, a secret phrase will be revealed.
An answer key is included.
