Calculus, Volume of Revolution Flip Book Foldable Organizer for your class. Students just love organizers for Interactive Notebooks or traditional ones!
This great activity is designed for College Calculus 1, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and Calculus Honors. It is part of Unit 6, Applications to Integration.
This Flip Book reviews the Volume of Revolution, Disk and Washer Methods
. There are definitions and formulas with six problems for students to complete. The problems include disks about the axes, and washers about the axes and also about lines other than the axes.
My students used to have so much trouble with these sections. Now the formulas and examples are presented visually and in a compact organized fashion. They love Flip Books. This makes a great study guide now and for exams later. Also included is a fully typed step by step solution key.
The Flip Book is a perfect size for traditional or Interactive Notebooks, or just to use for studying before a test. Final size 4¼″ x 6½″.
This is very easy to make; no glue, no mess. Print one page double-sided, make one cut, fold, staple – tah dah!! Even a caveman could do it. Great practice and lots of fun!
