Beginning of the year activity to jump start morning meeting and circle time in an exciting, age appropriate way for preschool and kindergarten
A linear calendar is ideal for teaching young learners the concept of time. They comprehend the idea of time and order of events much, much better with this style calendar. Watch how quickly your students begin to independently point and count and you will hear them enthusiastically discussing the calendar.
MEASUREMENTS: EACH DAY COLUMN IS 5.75 INCHES LENGTH AND 2 INCHES WIDTH. EACH NUMBERED DAY PIECE IS 3.5 X 3.5 CENTIMETERS
If you are willing to put in some effort, you will be glad you did! My students absolutely ADORED this calendar and I could never go back to a standard calendar for my little ones.
You will need something you can use to mount your calendar and affix the pieces to such as interlocking fabric or magnetic paper. (Complete instructions are inside the file)
