Use this completely editable 4th grade common core aligned Calendar Math. This version is designed for the second quarter of 4th grade (numbers and operations: review of some quarter 1 material, multiplication, division, etc.).
The BIG number of the day is written in this form: date, month, year. For example: March 26, 2013 is written: 260,313. The smaller number is always the first two digits of the bigger number: in this example, the smaller number is 26.
Directions: Copy each sheet onto different color paper. This way you can be specific and tell students to begin on the "blue" side. Place the 2 different sheets back to back and slide into a plastic sleeve (sheet protector). Students write with dry erase markers. Or, just copy as is and students use pencil.
My students use Calendar Math daily when I am grading their formative assessments to determine the day's groupings.
This is a great way to practice fluency and to reinforce newly learned material!
