Are you looking for a calendar math program that uses spiral review of 5th grade math standards? Do your students struggle with math concepts they should have mastered last year, and they just need to practice? This is the product you've been looking for!!
My Calendar Math program is designed around a daily calendar time that should only take about 15 minutes a day, mostly as independent work. You've seen those primary grades calendar programs that count the days of the school year and find the ABAB patterns of shapes on the calendars. Well, this one takes that design and boosts it to an upper grades level. You will be counting the days of the school year, but in DECIMALS. Not only will they be practicing decimal skills daily, but multiplication, geometry, and fractions, too!
There is a little prep work at the beginning to get started. Each student will need a 3 ring binder (a 3 pronged folder with pockets would work, too). The monthly sheets can be placed in sheet protectors so you only need 1 sheet instead of copying tons of paper. Just use a fine tipped dry erase marker! If you don't want to use dry erase markers, I have included a supplemental set of pages that can be copied monthly. This way your students can keep track of their data without erasing it everyday, and you can see what they complete. This makes for a great monthly assessment!
Like what you're hearing/reading? Download the preview to get an idea of all the math that can be done in a short amount of time in your class. I've heard the phrase "every minute counts," and know that your time is precious. This program will definitely maximize the time in your class.
