I bought a "Quick Reference" Flipbook and looking at it REALLY overwhelmed me, there was so many words (for an ADHD person like me it was a lot), so I summarized EACH and EVERY standard listed in that flip book. I found this really useful for me specifically because I teach grades 6-8 at the same time, so I have to cram in all their standards at once. I printed out the pages and highlighted the things they had in common, but also this was helpful because I can mark off when my students accomplish a specific standard which I loved. I know I am not the only person who would find this useful- this also took me like four hours to read and summarize and type. I hope you also find this useful! It helped me get organized SO quick and I am so happy I did this, I wanted to share it here! I use this as a quick reference, I can look up the specific standard online if I need more in depth information.
I am going to laminate these after I highlight what is in common, so I can use it year after year and just write all over it with an overhead pen! Best of luck to you and your teaching journey!
I kept this in word so you can make any adjustments to fonts, sizes, add titles, etc. This is just how I had it so I can write notes on it later as I go!
