We have taken the California social studies standards for fourth grade and turned them into "I Can..." posters and statement cards so that your kiddos can boast about what they can do! 52 pages of useful materials provided!
Color coding and icons are supplied for each type of standard. For example, all "California's Economy and Industry" standards are orange and have a corresponding icon for easy reference. Other categories for fourth grade include: Locations, California's Government, Early Colonization and Settlement of California, and California - Becoming a State. Even if you print in black and white, the coded icons will help to easily distinguish standards strands.
A one-page "key" is provided to give teachers quick reminders of how the California fourth grade social studies standards are organized.
A three-page "at a glance" handout gives teachers and parents quick access to every single California social studies standard written in "I Can" format.
There is an "I Can..." statement for every standard. Each standard is provided in easy-to-read poster format for portrait printing. Put these on the board while you teach so that students know what is expected, post them next to a bulletin board, stick them in your classroom library or display at applicable centers - the possibilities are endless!
Statement cards ("mini"-posters) also include corresponding icons and are small enough to send home with students, post next to student work, etc.
Posters and statement cards have the exact standard written in small print along the bottom for easy reference.
Also available for Kindergarten, and Grades 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6!

How to earn TPT Credits:
"Earn TpT Credits for purchases on TpT. You get one TpT Credit for every $ you spend on TpT. Thing is, you only get the Credits after you Provide Feedback -- both a fair rating and a fair comment -- on the items that you purchase. We will round up for you, too! If you provide fair feedback on a $4.75 item, you will earn 5 credits. Every 100 Credits is worth $5 that you can apply towards future TpT purchases, but there is no need to wait until you have 100 to redeem them. 50 credits is worth $2.50, for example."--TPT Credits Page
