Product Description
I developed and used these resources when reviewing Nonfiction, Fiction, and Easy Reader call numbers with my first grade students. The packet contains the following resources:

1. Call number signs - These printable signs show an example of a call number from fiction ("FIC"), easy reader ("E"), and nonfiction (Dewey Decimal Number) to use when reviewing the setup of these types of call numbers.

2. Call number cards - I held each of these cards up and asked students to say whether it was an Easy Reader call number, a Fiction call number, or a Nonfiction call number.

3. Call number cut and paste activity - A worksheet that asks students to cut out fish with different call numbers on their sides and glue them into different areas of a fish bowl labeled "Fiction," "Easy Reader," and "Nonfiction." I used this activity to go along with a One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish read aloud.
