Call of the Wild, The by Jack London
Call of the Wild Objective Tests is a 25-page series of objective tests that check student comprehension and factual knowledge of the story.
The questions, which cover the novel as chapter-by-chapter quizzes and as a whole book test, are written to draw attentio to plot sequence, cuase and effect, character traits and motivation, story clues, implied meaning, etc. Awareness of the facts is the targeted goal. Students will find it necessary to read the material carefully and thoroughly in order to score well on these quizzes.
The questions do no require interpretive thinking, but instead help students build a knowledge base for progression to the higher level thinking skills. The pages can also be put to use as small-group or independent reading guides, homework, and conferencing tools.
Call of the Wild Objective Tests includes complete answer keys.
