The Complete Call the Sub Unit includes 4 individual lessons on a variety of topics that will keep students occupied while the instructor is away from class. Once the instructor prepares these lesson activities they will be available in case of an emergency and/or a Planned/Unplanned Sub Day.

Lesson one includes these Learning Targets on Alcohol (takes 1-2 class periods):
Students will learn about the many factors that alter the effects of alcohol.
Students will learn this by reading a Wall Street Journal article entitled Testing the Limits of Tipsy and complete their Testing the Limits of Tipsy Worksheet.
Students will be assessed by completion and accuracy of their Worksheet.

Lesson Two includes these Learning Targets on Personality Styles(takes 1-2 class periods):
Students will learn about the benefits of an introverted personality.
Students will learn this by reading an article entitled “The Upside of Being an Introvert” and complete a student worksheet.
Students will be assessed by completion and accuracy of the worksheet.

Lesson Three includes these Learning Targets on Goals and Self Image (takes 1-2 class periods):
Students will learn there is life after high school; how the outies in high school become the innies in life.
Students will learn this by reading an article entitled Life after High School.
Students will be assessed by completion and accuracy of questionnaire.

Lesson Four includes these Learning Targets on Values (takes 1-2 class periods):
The Students will analyze and explain the influence of values and beliefs on individual healthy and unhealthy behavior.
The students will do this by reading and analyzing a Wall Street Journal article titled, Life Lessons From Navy Seal Training.
The Students will assessed by the completion of an analysis of 10 life lessons
