This chart was created for students with emotional needs. In my classroom, this chart was on the door, in the bathroom, and on student desks. The chart is set up to show students ways to calm down. It is visually helpful because the green options are supposed to be used first, as ways to calm down at your desk. Then the yellow keep you in the classroom, but maybe you needed a little more support or movement away from work. Lastly, the red options have the student leaving the room to calm down.
I found this very helpful with students who struggled with emotional control and chose to flee the classroom often.
