Designed for 3-5 year old children with autism or intellectual delays, this simple matching task puts new vocabulary in front of students throughout the day. I usually use this matching task during direct teaching, either saying the word for nonverbal students or encouraging students who have some oral language to name the pictures.
Pictures/vocabulary included are: frustrated, calm, breathe out, gum, count, drink, exercise, listen to music, push, read, fidget toy, walk.
