This is a short cut and paste matching activity for students to learn camera shots. There are four columns, so students learn the term, find a pictorial example and a written definition and the purpose of the shot.
This is a perfect activity for starting out with film study.
Students are given a sheet with two columns filled, and two blank, and a sheet of mixed up answers for the blank columns. Students can cut out and sort out the answers into the right place. There is a picture of each camera shot, so that students can see a clear example.
The file is provided as an easily printable pdf and also as a word doc if you want to change some of the wording to better suit your purpose.
This can be blown up and laminated to use as a group activity, or photocopied, so that students can glue it together, and then it can be used as a glossary in their notes.
