Subitizing is the skill of quickly and accurately knowing the quantity of something. This product is a game that helps students practice subitizing numbers to 10 by practicing typical ten frame configurations.
There are 8 picture cards that have a filled ten frame and a word on it. The students are to count (or "know" by looking at the ten-frame configuration) the objects, then write the number and the word describing it. For example, there might be 6 little gifts inside the ten frame, so the student would fill in the number 6 and copy the word "regalos" from the card onto the student recording sheet.
Since this activity has cross-curricular content, you can put it in either your math or literacy stations, or you can use it for both!
This game is in Spanish, but I also have the same game for the English classroom in my TPT store: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Learning-Little-Ones.
