This fun camping themed I Have, Who Has? game contains 24 cards with camping themed words. To play, print out set of cards (provided in both color and black and white). Laminate for durability. Have students read the card so they know what word to listen for.
I have provided a picture clue for every word included in the game. My reason for doing so is that in my experience, toward the end of the year, students who normally may be pulled from the regular classroom setting for special services may not always been pulled on their regular schedule (for various reasons) and therefore student who may not normally be present during your literacy time may be in your room. My hope is that by providing pictures with the words, your special needs students (and any student who may be struggling with reading) can be successful and enjoy playing this game.
The person with the start card stands up and says, “Start. I have -----.” The student who has that word stands up and says, “I have ----. Who has ----?” Play continues until the end card is read.
My class loved to be timed. I started the timer as soon as the person with the start card starts talking and stop the timer when the last person reads the end card. We wrote our times on the board and tried to beat our time. The kids LOVE this game!
