This resource contains 5 Write the Room literacy centers with camping themed vocabulary and graphics. It provides fun end of the year activities for your little campers, but can also be used at anytime. It works well with summer, camping, vacation, forest animals, fishing, or outdoors themes.

This packet has the following Activities:
• Camping Time Write the Room
• Summer Camp Write the Room (Set 1)
• Summer Camp Write the Room (Set 2)
• Camping Road Trip Write the Room
• Camping in the Mountains Write the Room

Each activity has a set of 10 Cards and a Recording Page with matching graphics.

This packet was updated on August 15, 2017. The recording pages have been revised. The pages are now in landscape format to provide more space to record responses. Please read and follow the tip below to take full advantage of this update.

For optimal printing results select Automatic Orientation (Portrait/Landscape) on your printer settings.

Print, laminate, and cut out the cards. Make copies of the recording pages.

Hang the cards in various places around the room. Give learners a clipboard, a recording page, and a pencil. Learners go around the room looking for the cards. When they find a card, they write the word on the card in the correct space on their recording page.
