This lesson was designed to help to develop auditory processing and listening skills for students to learn concepts in order to successfully complete directions!
I created this lesson because not only do my students have many following directions goals this year, but they also have difficulty executing directives in the classroom that contain linguistic concepts, especially those containing linguistic, spatial, temporal, descriptive, sequential terminology.
Several concepts are included in this lesson and all directions are based around a school theme.
For each concept, there are at least two directives provided to teach the term.
A data collection sheet is additionally included.
A parent letter describing the activity is included.
Clip-art for this lesson was purchased at www.ScrappinDoodles.com
