Product Description
As you study our neighbor to the North, Canada, have your students complete this scrapbook activity. Students will draw a picture and write a sentence for each section including landforms, water, climate, culture, government, and money. Includes a 4-page scrapbook activity with grading rubric.

This is an activity that goes along with my resource, Canada: Our Neighbor to the North, which is a 10-page informational text packet that can be used as a "textbook chapter" when teaching about Canada. In the informational text packet, your students will learn about the land, water, climate, products, natural resources, landmarks, government, money, and culture of the Canada. This Canada Scrapbook is to be used as they read the Canada: Our Neighbor to the North, packet. Students will draw a picture and write a sentence for each section of the reading.

While these materials were written to correspond to Florida's Next Generation Sunshine State Standards for 3rd grade Social Studies when I couldn't find anything else appropriate for my students, Canada: Our Neighbor to the North, is also perfect for 4th, 5th, or 6th graders studying the countries of North America.

Florida Sunshine State Standards Addressed:

SS.3.G.2.4: Describe the physical features of the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
SS.3.G.2.5: Identify natural and man-made landmarks in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

SS.3.G.3.2: Describe the natural resources in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
