Black History Month Posters featuring living Canadians who have impacted their industries, whether that be education, technology, music, writing, or more.

The resource was created in collaboration with Sarah Adomako-Ansah, one of the founding members of Alberta's Black Teacher's Association. We wanted to create a resource that was specific to Canada that honoured the accomplishments of Black Canadians.

This product includes:

Individual 8.5x11 JPEG's (French and English) of each poster, as well as a collective PDF (French and English) for easy printing. A PDF with write-ups for each person is included, however, write-ups are only available in English.

The people featured are:

Christopher Usih, Jean Augustine, Amanda Parris, Kia Nurse, Darnell Nurse, Angela Whyte, Alphonso Davies, Jarome Iginla, Donovan Bailey, Andrew Wiggins, Knowmadic, Dr. Hedy Fry, Michaelle Jean, Drake, Ruth B, Tracy Moore, Sasha Exeter, Luther Brown, Hal Johnson, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, Francoise Abanda, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Jully Black, Claudette McGowan, Desmond Cole, Cabbie Richards, Jesse Lipscombe, Andre De Grasse, and Rosemary Sadlier.
