This lesson plan's point of view is Canadian and is designed for Canadian students. It includes:
- a reading text of 551 words that is written in a question and answer format describing the basic structure of the federal government of Canada.
- a Jeopardy-like comprehension exercise that asks students to formulate questions based on information from the text.
- two research activities that may be completed using the Internet or as a teacher-guided exercise.
Answer keys are included. This resource has been updated to reflect the outcome of the October 2015 election and other changes.
The lesson plan is illustrated with graphics or photos that print well in black and white.
Great for an ESL class as well.
Please see my store for the same lesson plan created for grades
