This lesson plan's point of view is Canadian and is designed for Canadian students. It includes:
- a reading text of 538 words that is written in a question and answer format describing the basic structure of the federal government of Canada.
- a Jeopardy-like comprehension exercise that asks students to formulate questions based on information from the text.
- two research activities that may be completed using the Internet or as a teacher-guided exercise.
Answer keys are included.
The lesson plan is illustrated with graphics or photos that print well in black and white.
Great for an ESL class as well.
