This activity was designed for the high school special education classroom. However, due to the nature of the content it is a great activity for the elementary years or home learning.
Students will reinforce their recognition of coins (nickel, dime, quarter, loonie, and toonie) and bills ($5 and $10). They will practice adding up money to make the amounts given to them on the cone. It is a fun, game based way to practice the basic life skill of money math.
Simply print, laminate (if wanted), and cut out. An extension activity is also included in the instructions.
