Inspire creativity with this activity. Have students build using a variety of materials! It develops many skills including, but not limited to, oral language, spatial sense, number sense, geometric shape identification and writing skills all in one fun activity!

40 unique locations included (most Provinces represented) which can be built in block play. Locations include:

castles, mansions, towers, parliament buildings, hotels, bridges, defence locations and waterfalls

Included in this pack are:

Writing & Math pages {2 options provided. Both available in b&w and colour}

My building Plan (students can describe and draw what they will build)

I built (students can write, draw and count the blocks used)

40 Posters/Provocations with real images included which can easily be displayed on a bulletin board set or on a small easel (like a book display). Each page includes the name of the building or location (castle, building, landform, notable location etc.) and the city and province it is located in. Sizes of the images are constrained due to the quality of the photos used. These cannot all be the same size. Thank you for your understanding.

Canadian Landforms & Locations Book includes the same locations that are included in the poster/provocation set so the children can make connections.

For each image included the page will describe the locations:

Name of the site

Location (City & Province)

Date it was built (for man-made structures only)

Style (Influence for buildings)
