This is a IPA-like activity using song lyrics to Si tú la ves by Nicky Jam. The song uses preterite, imperfect and DOPs/IOPs (Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns). Also included are the song lyrics and a cloze-passage listening quiz.
It usually takes me one class period to learn about the singer, listen to the song, watch the video and work on the worksheet. A week later, I will give the cloze-passage song quiz as a listening assessment.
I used this in my Spanish 3 class.
