Help the ghost catch all the candies by correctly articulating targets! Word lists provided for this activity are: initial /s/ and /z/, final /s/ and /z/, and s blends. However, any word lists can be used for the activity since it is easily modified.
How to use:
Print on card stock (or regular printer paper) and laminate to ensure durability. Cut out candy pieces (and ghost if desired). Use the word lists provided or your own for the activity. Each time the target sound is articulated correctly, reinforce with a piece of candy. This candy can be provided to the client for them to stick on the ghost's bag (using Velcro, tape, etc.). It is also possible to tape the printout ghost to a box and cut out the top of the bag. Students can then drop the candy into the ghosts bag, as opposed to sticking it on the bag. For a more interactive approach, provide the child with a bag. Toss each candy piece into the air as earned and have them catch it (like the ghost). How you play can be modified to fit your needs.
