PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Candy Corn Math Games - Two games are included in this download! The games feature fun fall/autumn clip art by Pre-K Tweets. These games are the perfect addition to your fall math center!

Included:

- One "Scarecrow Beware!" draw & cover board game with number cards: The object of the game is to cover all of your candy corn before the other person. Print 2-4 boards for your math center or small group activity. The players are the "crows" and will draw included number cards from the stack or a small bowl. Players will identify the number, count, and cover candy corn images with counters. Ideas for counters: bingo chips, candy corn, popcorn, colored pom poms, or even fall erasers! If the player draws the scarecrow, then BOO! The player must "drop their corn" and clear their board of counters. You could play with just one scarecrow card in the deck and if it is drawn then player would lose 1 counter. This is a great game to practice one-to-one correspondence, counting skills, and numeral identification! For fine motor development, have students place counters on the board with a clothespin! The clothespin can act as the crow's beak! Number cards 1-10 and two scarecrow cards are included with this game board.

- One “Feed the Crows” grid game and candy corn counters: Students can play by themselves, with a team, or with a group of four depending on how many game boards you print out or use. This is a roll and cover game to be used with dice and counters. Students roll the dice, identify the number, and cover the crows with counters until filled. The first one to fill their board wins the game! You can use the included candy corn circle counters or use your own. A cute idea would be to use real candy corn or even popped popcorn!

*I print all my games on card stock, laminate, and keep them on trays in the centers. Game pieces are placed in a small bowl, cup, or basket on the tray. This way students can easily play the game with it already set up for them and they can put it away neatly!
