This product includes 30 task cards to help your children practice fact families to 12, missing addend, or missing subtrahend.

I first laminate the cards, then I use them in a variety of ways.

1. Give each student a card. Each student records his/her answer on the recording sheet. Then the card is passed to the student next to them (I ring a bell when the card should be passed). This continues until the students have completed every problem.

2. Give each student a card. The students complete the problem, but at the sound of a bell (or some other signal), they themselves move to the next desk. They need to take their answer sheets and pencils with them.

3. Place the cards in a center. According to the length of your center time, you might do 15 cards a day. The students complete the problems and record the answers on the recording sheet.

4. Use the document camera to display the cards. Students work through them and record on their answer sheets. The first four you might do as a class, and then move to the next cards for independent practice.

Thanks! Happy Halloween!
