Candy Corn Summarizing Activity

Fun fall summarizing activity..... use in the fall, near Halloween or Thanksgiving. Use with any book.

Students will read their book/story and then fill in the beginning, middle, and end on the candy corn pattern. This can be a story you read together as a class or one they are reading individually.

I have included a color copy if you want to project it and fill it in as a class.... great for modeling.

After students fill in their copy, they can color it and make it pretty for displaying. If they do a great job, I'm sure they would enjoy a few candy corn to eat, too. :-)

This is great for a literacy center activity or even homework. Use it in your classroom however you would like.
