Are you looking for a fun Bingo game to play with your students on Valentine's Day? How about a game of Candy Heart Bingo to help control the classroom chaos that comes on such an exciting day for the kids?
This file contains management suggestions and three different methods for determining the numbers to be drawn, along with 100 unique Candy Heart Bingo cards. Why one hundred cards? We once had a grade-level game of bingo and needed 92 different cards for each of the students, so 100 seemed like the logical outcome!
With so many cards to choose from, I now give each of my classroom students (typically around twenty-five students) two different game cards as this seems to hold their interest and attention that much longer as there is a greater chance one of the two game cards will be drawing well.
My students have had lots of fun playing this game the past few years, and so can yours... Don't be surprised if they ask to play it beyond the Valentine's holiday!
