Use candy hearts to practice math skills like tallying, graphing, factions of a set, fractions on a number line, and equivalent fractions. Great way to celebrate while learning! My students used this last year, and after some tweaking, this is the perfect resource to use again this year.
A few tips from Reyes Remarkable Rants: Get the large bags of candy hearts and divide them into groups of 12 or 24 (something with lots of factors). Just buying the individual boxes gave most of my students 29. hearts which defeated many of the fraction activities!
